At Hoot & Hue, we take immense pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our art. We want you to be completely delighted with your purchase.
Please read our policy below to understand your rights regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Damaged or Defective Items
Because art is delicate, we pack every order with extreme care. However, damages during transit can happen.
Mandatory Unboxing Video: To be eligible for a refund or replacement for a damaged item, you must provide a clear, uncut unboxing video showing the package being opened and the damage found.
- Why is this needed? This video acts as proof that the damage occurred during transit and not after delivery.
- Policy: Refunds or replacements will ONLY be processed if a valid unboxing video is provided.
How to Report: Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@hootandhue.com with:
- Your Order Number.
- The Unboxing Video attached (or a Google Drive link).
- Photos of the damaged artwork and packaging.
Resolution: Once the video is verified, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent immediately. If a replacement is not possible (e.g., for Original Art), we will issue a full refund.
2. Returns (Change of Mind)
We accept returns for standard prints and non-custom items under the following conditions:
- Return Window: You have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
- Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning the item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
3. Non-Returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned:
- Custom Commissions: Art created specifically for you.
- Sale Items: Items purchased on “Final Sale” or clearance.
- Gift Cards.
4. Refunds Process
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you via email.
- Approval: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment (Credit Card, UPI, etc.) within 5-7 business days.
5. Cancellations
- Before Shipping: You may cancel your order for a full refund if it has not yet been shipped. Please email us immediately.
- After Shipping: If the order has already been dispatched, it will be treated as a Return (see Section 2).
