1. Shipping & Delivery
How long will it take to receive my order? We typically process orders within 24-48 hours. Once shipped, delivery usually takes:
- Metro Cities: 3-5 business days.
- Rest of India: 5-7 business days. You will receive a tracking link via email as soon as your art is on its way.
Is it safe to ship art? Absolutely. We take packaging very seriously.
- Prints & Paintings: Packed in industrial-grade rigid mailing tubes or sandwiched between hardboard sheets to prevent bending.
- Framed/Canvas Art: Wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and secured in a sturdy corrugated box with corner protectors.
Do you ship internationally? Currently, we ship across India. If you are an international customer interested in a piece, please email us at info@hootandhue.com and we can discuss custom shipping rates.
2. The Art & Framing
Are these paintings hand-painted or digital prints? It depends on the collection!
- Originals: These are 100% hand-painted unique pieces.
- Woodcuts: These are hand-printed from a carved wooden block.
- Fine Art Prints: These are high-quality reproductions of our original work. Please check the “Product Description” on each page to know exactly what you are buying.
Does the art come framed? Unless the product title says “Framed,” most paper prints are sold unframed to ensure they arrive safely (glass often breaks in transit). Canvas pieces (like the Round Gold Art) often come with a mini-easel or are ready to hang.
Why does my art look slightly different from the photo? Because our art is handmade, not machine-manufactured. Small variations in texture, brush strokes, or ink density are normal and are what make your piece one-of-a-kind.
3. Returns & Damaged Items
What if my package arrives damaged? We have a strict Unboxing Video Policy. To claim a refund or replacement for damage, you must record a video while opening your package. If the art is damaged inside, email the video to support@hootandhue.com within 48 hours, and we will replace it immediately.
Can I return an item if I change my mind? You can return standard items within 7 days of delivery if they are in original condition. Note: You will be responsible for the return shipping costs. Custom commissions and “Final Sale” items cannot be returned.
4. Art Care
How do I clean my textured art?
- Do: Dust lightly with a dry, soft microfiber cloth or a soft brush.
- Don’t: Never use water, cleaning sprays, or wet cloths, especially on Gold Leaf or paper prints, as this can damage the surface.
